Texas AM Aggies One Win Away from College World Series Championship

Aggies Defeat Tennessee 9-5 in Semi-Finals

The Texas A&M Aggies are now one win away from capturing their first-ever College World Series championship after defeating the University of Tennessee 9-5 in the semi-finals on Thursday evening. The Aggies will face the winner of the other semi-final match-up between the University of Connecticut and the University of Mississippi in the championship game on Saturday night.

Impressive Performance from Aggies Pitching Staff

The Aggies' pitching staff put in a strong performance, with starter Nathan Dettmer allowing only four hits and one earned run over five innings of work. The bullpen then came in and shut down the Volunteers' offense, with Bryce Miller striking out the side in the eighth inning.

At the plate, Jack Moss led the way for the Aggies with a home run and three RBIs. Dylan Rock also had a productive night, going 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI. The win improves Texas A&M's record to 42-19 on the season.
